When we were on the road towards Broga Hill, we could already see climbers shining their torchlights at us from the peak. That's how early people were willing to wake up to enjoy the sunrise view from the hilltop. But I think it could also be due to it being a public holiday for some and also, it was a school holiday. It was still better than the weekends though where massive numbers of hikers/tourists would flock to Broga Hill and leave no spot for you to stand on the peak. And the paths/trails..they were quite narrow. Imagine if one big group going down the hill bumped into another trying to get to the top, in lowlight conditions.
This was quite a new experience for me, to hike the hill in pitch black conditions. But then I saw a family of three (A dad, mum and a small child) who were climbing up without even using torchlights! Once I got up to the top, I realised I left my SD memory cards for my cam at home!! No mood lol!! Luckily JH offered me his and so we started snapping photos. However, I guess I did enjoy the experience and got the following pictures:
